04:30 PM EDT, 06/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Teledyne Technologies ( TDY ) unit Teledyne Brown Engineering said Monday it has been picked by TerraPower as a supplier for the Natrium reactor demonstration project in Wyoming.

The Natrium plant has a 345-megawatt electric sodium-cooled fast reactor and a molten salt-based energy storage system, Teledyne Brown said.

Teledyne Brown will provide the design, fabrication and testing of a prototype in-vessel transfer machine, the company said.

Financial details weren't provided.

The design phase will follow a production model that will be installed at the facility.
