Two analysts surveyed by FactSet expected EPS of 0.08 euro.

Revenue for the three months ended Sept. 30 was 8.96 billion euros, down from 9.10 billion euros a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected 8.99 billion euros.

Shares of the company were down 9.7% in recent premarket activity.
