Telefonica Wins Provisional UEFA Rights Deal for 2027 to 2031

05:33 AM EST, 11/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Telefonica ( TEF ) said late Thursday it has been awarded exclusive media rights to the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, Europa Conference League, Youth League, and Super Cup from 2027 to 2031.

The rights are priced at 1.46 billion euros ($1.68 billion) in total, or 366 million euros per season across the four-year term, Telefonica ( TEF ) said.

The award contract with UEFA is expected to be signed soon and would give Telefonica ( TEF ) all media rights to these competitions for its residential customers, the company said.

Shares of the company were up by over 1.2% in recent Friday premarket activity.
