09:36 AM EST, 12/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Telesat ( TSAT ) said Wednesday it has completed the Preliminary Design Review for its Lightspeed low Earth orbit satellite constellation in partnership with MDA Space.

The project now moves into detailed engineering and manufacturing, including the Critical Design Review phase, Telesat ( TSAT ) said.

Telesat ( TSAT ) said it plans to begin launching satellites in 2026.
