Telesat Lower in U.S. Pre-market Trading, Secures "Substantial" Contract With Viasat

08:54 AM EDT, 04/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Telesat ( TSAT ) , down 6.6% on last look, on Monday said Viasat, an American communications company, has signed a "substantial" multi-year contract for Telesat Lightspeed Low Earth Orbit (LEO) services.

Viasat plans to integrate Telesat Lightspeed into its services portfolio for aviation, maritime, enterprise and defense markets. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Telesat ( TSAT ) was last seen down US$1.10, to US$15.52 in U.S. pre-market trading.
