Telesat Names Donald Tremblay as New CFO

07:59 AM EDT, 08/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Telesat ( TSAT ) said Wednesday it appointed Donald Tremblay as its new finance chief, effective Oct. 20.

Tremblay has over 35 years of experience in financial leadership, including roles at Champion Iron, Transalta, and Brookfield Renewable, the company said.

He will succeed Andrew Browne, who announced his retirement in March after working as CFO since 2019, Telesat ( TSAT ) said.

Tremblay's experience includes equity and debt capital market transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and risk management, the company said.
