08:16 AM EDT, 09/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Telesat ( TSAT ) said Monday that its Telesat LEO subsidiary has signed a deal with Calian Group to develop the data platform for Telesat's ( TSAT ) Lightspeed Low Earth Orbit network.

Under the agreement, Calian will design, develop, integrate, and deploy Telesat Lightspeed Operational Data Platform for Telesat's ( TSAT ) LEO satellite constellation, landing stations, and user terminals, the company said.

Financial terms were not disclosed, but Telesat ( TSAT ) said the contract is an expansion of Calian's ongoing services for the Telesat Lightspeed program.
