05:24 PM EDT, 06/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Telesat ( TSAT ) and Vocus said Tuesday that they agreed to a contract under which Vocus will build and operate Telesat Lightspeed low Earth orbit landing station in Australia.

Under the agreement, Vocus will also provide fiber connectivity to Telesat's ( TSAT ) point of presence, connecting the satellite constellation to terrestrial networks.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
