11:56 AM EDT, 10/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- TELUS ( TU ) said Tuesday it is partnering with Indigenomics to support Indigenous economic advancement and innovation.

Indigenomics will use Telus' ( TU ) Sovereign AI Factory to accelerate the development of IndigenomicsAI, an Indigenous economic intelligence platform designed to measure, mobilize and amplify Indigenous economic activity, while keeping data, knowledge and intellectual property secure.

"Supporting Indigenous economic advancement through our sovereign AI infrastructure is one example of Telus' ( TU ) reconciliation strategy and commitment to responsible AI in action," said chief information officer Hesham Fahmy.

Telus ( TU ) shares were last seen down $0.04 to $20.88 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
