TELUS Closes US$1.5 Billion Junior Subordinated Notes Offering

12:42 PM EDT, 06/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- TELUS ( TU ) on Friday said it closed an offering of US$1.5 billion aggregate principal amount of Fixed-to-Fixed Rate Junior Subordinated Notes in two series.

The company said proceeds of the offering will be used to fund its' previously announced tender offers, with any remaining proceeds used for the repayment of debt, including commercial paper, and for other general corporate purposes.

TELUS ( TU ) shares were last seen down $0.085 to $21.655 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Price: 21.66, Change: -0.08, Percent Change: -0.37
