TELUS Global Ventures Invests in Two Health Tech Companies

08:35 AM EDT, 10/31/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Telus ( TU ) said Thursday that its TELUS Global Ventures is participating in two new funding rounds with equity investments in healthcare tech companies Homethrive and Rhino Health.

With the investments, TELUS Global Ventures has now taken stakes in more than 150 companies.

Illinois-based Homethrive is focused on providing digital solutions for elderly support, while Boston-headquartered Rhino Health uses healthcare AI to speed up medical advancements.

"As a global leader in digital innovation and healthcare solutions, TELUS' ( TU ) readiness and capability to swiftly deploy capital to help scale health tech innovations will contribute to promoting adoption of transformative care solutions," said Terry Doyle, managing partner at TELUS Global Ventures.
