07:29 AM EDT, 07/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- TELUS International (TIXT.TO), rebranding to TELUS Digital Experience in the third quarter, on Tuesday said it has recruited two artificial intelligence (AI) and Software as a Service (SaaS) industry professionals to its Fuel iX leadership team.

Bret Kinsella has been appointed as General Manager and Tim MacGregor as Vice President of Business Development.

As General Manager of Fuel iX, Kinsella will oversee and drive strategy, design, sales and operations. He is the founder of Voicebot.ai, a news and research publication focused on transformational AI technologies. He also authors the generative AI daily newsletter Synthedia.

MacGregor will lead sales and account management. He was most recently on the senior management team overseeing product at Clearleap, a SaaS video distribution and streaming management solution, helping guide its sale to IBM.

TELUS International announced the beta release of Fuel iX, its enterprise-grade GenAI engine, in April,, launching two main solution areas: Fuel iX Core and Fuel iX Apps.

"Generative AI represents a once-in-a-generation technology platform shift, and Fuel iX is a product designed to help enterprises make that transition to a new set of capabilities," said Tobias Dengel, President of WillowTree, a TELUS International Company.
