Revenue for the three months ended Sept. 30 was $2.98 billion, up from $2.92 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $2.84 billion.

The company declared an interim dividend of $0.29 per share or $0.58 per ADS, payable Nov. 26 to holders of record Nov. 25.
