Teradata Q2 Non-GAAP Earnings Rise, Sales Drop; Sets Q3, Full-Year EPS Outlook; Shares Fall After Hours

05:46 PM EDT, 08/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Teradata ( TDC ) reported Q2 non-GAAP earnings late Monday of $0.64 per diluted share, up from $0.48 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.48.

Revenue for the quarter that ended June 30 was $436 million, down from $462 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $447.3 million.

The company expects Q3 and full-year 2024 non-GAAP diluted earnings will be $0.54 to $0.58 per share and $2.20 to $2.26 per share, respectively. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $0.49 and $2.18, respectively.

The company expects 2024 revenue to fall 2% to 4% year-over-year at constant currency.

Teradata ( TDC ) shares fell more than 5% in after-hours trading.
