09:01 AM EST, 01/31/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Teradyne ( TER ) and Infineon Technologies said Friday that they have partnered to advance power semiconductor testing.

Under the partnership, Teradyne ( TER ) said it will acquire part of Infineon's automated test equipment team in Regensburg, Germany.

The companies said the move will boost Teradyne's ( TER ) capabilities, accelerating its roadmap in the power semiconductor segment while working with Infineon to develop new products.

Infineon will also secure continued manufacturing support and increased flexibility through a service agreement, benefiting from Teradyne's ( TER ) economies of scale, they said.

TER shares were up 0.8% in recent premarket activity.
