09:00 AM EDT, 05/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Teradyne's ( TER ) LitePoint unit and Pegatron 5G said Tuesday they have started large-scale production of 5G O-RAN radio units to support private network deployments.

The companies said they are manufacturing radio units for private 5G networks using LitePoint's IQFR1-RU testing system, which supports full compliance with 3GPP 38.141 standards.

The test platform enables high-volume production by simplifying the testing process for both wireless and optical interfaces, potentially reducing costs and complexity, the companies said.
