04:01 PM EDT, 09/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Terra Clean Energy ( TCEFF ) on Tuesday said it reached an option agreement to acquire up to a 100% interest in 75 uranium claims in Emery County, Utah.
The company said the claims, which cover the Wheal Anne and Green Vein Messa groups, include nine past-producing uranium mines with a track record of producing several hundred thousand tons of ore grading up to 1% U308.
To earn 100% owner will make cash payments over four years, issue shares, and fund exploration expenditures over the the period. The vendors will retain a 2% net royalty on the Green Vein Mesa claims, with the company holding an option to repurchase 1% of that royalty for US$333,334.
"One of my stated goals with Terra was to add another low-risk uranium project to the company, and this transaction does just that," chief executive Greg Cameron said.
The company said surface sampling at the properties has revealed visible uranium, vanadium, copper, and cobalt mineralization, with uranium readings up to 21,000 counts per second. The claims are located about 75 miles from a uranium mill and are accessible by road and power infrastructure.
Shares of Terra Clean Energy ( TCEFF ) closed up $0.015 to $0.135 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
