08:06 AM EDT, 10/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Territorial Bancorp ( TBNK ) said Friday that proxy advisory firm Glass Lewis has joined Institutional Shareholder Services in recommending Territorial shareholders to vote in favor of the company's pending merger with Hope Bancorp ( HOPE ) .

The company said its board of directors and management team, which collectively own 9.2% of Territorial's outstanding shares, have already voted their shares for the transaction.

The company's special meeting of stockholders to vote on the transaction is scheduled for Nov. 6.
