10:01 AM EDT, 10/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Territorial Bancorp ( TBNK ) said Friday it has postponed its special meeting of stockholders, originally scheduled for Oct. 10, to Nov. 6, where stockholders will vote on the proposed merger with Hope Bancorp ( HOPE ) .

The record date for stockholders eligible to vote at the special meeting remains Aug. 14.

The meeting was postponed to give the Territorial's board and management more time to engage with stockholders about the pending Hope Bancorp ( HOPE ) merger, which the board unanimously recommends voting "for" along with all related proposals, the company said.
