BERLIN, March 5 (Reuters) - Production at Tesla's car
factory near Berlin is not expected to resume before next week
after a suspected arson attack severed both power lines feeding
it, plant manager Andre Thierig said on Tuesday.
The outage, which would last until the plant's electricity
provider restored supply, would cost "in the high nine-digit
euro range", he added. Staff had been told to stay at home until
production could resume.
"We don't expect to be able resume production this week," he
said. "We hope to find out whether we can restart at the
beginning of next week."
