Tesla, Chord Energy, Coterra Energy Blacklisted by Swedish Pension Fund AP7
Jun 13, 2025 8:13 AM

10:57 AM EDT, 06/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla (TSLA), Chord Energy ( CHRD ) and Coterra Energy ( CTRA ) have been blacklisted by Swedish pension fund AP7 and excluded from the fund's investment universe, AP7 said Friday.

Tesla was added to the list due to alleged violation of labor rights in the US, AP7 said.

"Despite several years of dialogue with Tesla, including shareholder proposals in collaboration with other investors, the company has not taken sufficient measures to address the issues," AP7 said.

Chord and Coterra were included in the list due to alleged failure to comply with the Paris Agreement through large-scale oil operations with no transition plans, AP7 said.

The pension fund removed Evergy ( EVRG ) from its blacklist, saying the company no longer meets the criteria for blacklisting "after taking sufficient transition measures."

The companies didn't immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
