01:21 PM EST, 01/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla (TSLA) is collaborating with Pilot Travel Centers to install charging infrastructure for heavy-duty electric trucks at select Pilot travel centers across the US, Pilot said Tuesday.
Financial details weren't disclosed.
Tesla Semi Chargers will be deployed along major corridors, including Interstate 5 and Interstate 10, with the first sites slated to open in summer 2026, Pilot said.
Construction is expected to begin in H1 at select Pilot locations in California, Georgia, Nevada, New Mexico and Texas. Each site will include four to eight charging stalls using Tesla's V4 cabinet charging technology, capable of delivering up to 1.2 megawatts of power per stall, Pilot said.
The network will initially support Tesla's Semi trucks and could later be expanded to serve heavy-duty electric vehicles from other manufacturers, Pilot added.
