Tesla Raises US Lease Prices After Expiration of Tax Credits

06:57 AM EDT, 10/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla (TSLA) has raised lease prices for all of its vehicles in the US after the government allowed tax credits for electric vehicles to expire.

Leases for Tesla's Model Y now cost $529 to $599 per month while the Model 3 costs $429 to $759, the US website showed.

Leases for Model Y used to cost $479 to $529 per month, while Model 3s were $349 to $699 per month, Reuters reported.

The tax incentives, which expired Tuesday, included a $7,500 credit for new EVs and a $4,000 credit for used EVs, Reuters reported.
