06:30 AM EDT, 03/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla (TSLA) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Cybertruck vehicles to fix the cant rail, a stainless-steel exterior trim panel that may "delaminate and detach from the vehicle," according to a notification from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on Wednesday.

The recall may affect up to 46,096 vehicles.

The notification said a "detached panel can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash."

Tesla will replace the cant rail assembly without additional cost for owners.

Tesla shares were down over 2% in recent prebell activity.
