04:20 AM EDT, 05/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla (TSLA) is recalling nearly 15,000 Model Y SUVs due to missing certification labels with weight certifications, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said Friday.
No collisions, injuries, or fatalities have been reported, but the regulator warned that missing weight-specification labels could lead to overloading, increasing "the risk of a crash."
The automaker will inspect and install the labels on affected vehicles, the NHTSA said.
