08:38 AM EST, 11/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla (TSLA) is nearing a large-scale battery supply agreement with South Korea's Samsung SDI, multiple media outlets reported Monday, citing industry sources.

The deal for energy storage systems is estimated at more than 3 trillion won ($2.1 billion), according to The Korea Economic Daily.

Tesla and Samsung did not immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
