Tesla Says Majority of German Plant Staff Voted Against IG Metall Union Candidates for Gruenheide Plant Works Council
Mar 21, 2024 4:52 AM

07:29 AM EDT, 03/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla (TSLA) said a majority of its staff in Germany voted against IG Metall Union representation, voting instead for non-union candidates for its Gruenheide plant works council, media reported Wednesday.

IG Metall in a separate statement said that with 39.4% of the votes, it still expects to get 16 of 39 seats, which would make it the largest single group on the council.

Tesla did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
