Sept 16 (Reuters) - Tesla reached a
confidential deal to resolve a lawsuit by the family of a
teenager who was killed in a 2019 California crash involving a
Model 3 vehicle on autopilot, Bloomberg News reported on
Tuesday.
The settlement marks the latest move by the Elon Musk-led
firm to avoid a jury trial over a fatal crash. The
electric-vehicle maker has settled several other cases involving
its vehicles and self-driving technology.
The trial was scheduled to start in about a month in Alameda
County Superior Court, the report said.
Tesla did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for
comment.
