Tesla Shares up as CEO Musk Expresses 'Regret' on Recent Comments Against Trump
Jun 11, 2025 3:35 AM

06:23 AM EDT, 06/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla (TSLA) shares were up 2.1% in recent premarket activity Wednesday after Chief Executive Elon Musk said that some of his recent posts about US President Donald Trump "went too far."

"I regret some of my posts about President @realDonaldTrump last week," Musk said in a post on social media platform X. "They went too far."

Trump recently said that he had no interest in reconciling with Musk after the two former political allies clashed over Musk's continued criticism of the president's tax and spending bill, among other things.

The White House and a representative of Musk did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' requests for comment on Musk's latest post.
