05:02 AM EDT, 03/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla (TSLA) and SpaceX Chief Executive Elon Musk said Sunday the companies will build two advanced chip factories at a facility in Austin, Texas.

"Terafab will technically be two fabs, each making only one chip design," Musk said in a post on social media platform X.

Products from one factory will power cars and humanoid robots, while the other is designed for artificial intelligence data centers in space, Musk said.
