Tesla Sued for Alleged Retaliatory Termination of HR Staff Over Racism Concerns
Aug 8, 2025 8:58 AM

11:27 AM EDT, 08/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla (TSLA) is facing a federal lawsuit alleging the company fired or retaliated against human resources employees who validated reports of workplace racism at its Fremont, California, factory, according to a court filing Thursday.

The lawsuit also accused the company of disability discrimination, wrongful termination, and failure to prevent discrimination, the filing showed.

The complainants, including five former HR employees and a senior security manager, are seeking damages and a jury trial.

"These plaintiffs individually and collectively voiced concerns, objections, and complaints about the discriminatory and retaliatory practices that Tesla officials engaged in at the Fremont facility and, as a consequence, they were each pushed out of their Tesla employment," according to the complaint.

Tesla didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
