FRANKFURT, April 17 (Reuters) - Tesla is
planning to lay off 300 temporary workers at its German plant
near Berlin as part of plans to cut global staff, Business
Insider reported on Wednesday, citing people familiar with the
matter.
The cuts are to start on Monday, the report said.
Tesla, which employs a total of around 12,500 at its plant
in Gruenheide, was not immediately available for comment.
Tesla is laying off more than 10% of its global workforce,
an internal memo seen by Reuters on Monday showed.
