09:25 AM EDT, 10/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla's (TSLA) legal attempt to remove a blockade of license plate deliveries for new electric vehicles was struck down by a Swedish court, media outlets reported Friday.

The deliveries are being blocked by postal workers in Sweden as part of a larger labor union sympathy strike, according to Reuters.

A Stockholm court rejected Tesla's lawsuit against the Swedish postal service PostNord, saying Swedish unions have constitutional rights to strike and participate in sympathy actions, Bloomberg reported.

Tesla didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
