Tesla's new car sales in Italy rise in April but still down 4% year to date
May 26, 2025 12:29 AM

MILAN, May 2 (Reuters) - Tesla's new car

registrations in Italy were up in April for a second month in a

row but were still down an overall 4% in the first four months

of the year, data from the Transport Ministry showed on Friday.

New registrations of Tesla vehicles grew 29% in April from

the same month last year, but the low number of vehicles sold -

just 446 - can produce volatile monthly data.

In the January-April period, the U.S electric vehicle maker

sold 3,916 new cars in Italy, down 3.67% from the same period of

2024, the data showed.
