05:27 AM EDT, 09/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla's (TSLA) sales of its China-made Model 3 and Model Y vehicles rose by 3% year on year in August to 86,697 vehicles, Reuters, Bloomberg and The South China Morning Post reported, citing data released Monday by the China Passenger Car Association.

According to the news outlets, the August deliveries increased by 17% from the previous month.

Tesla did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
