10:07 AM EDT, 09/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tesla's (TSLA) new car registrations in the UK increased about 7.6% year over year in August, according to data from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.

Overall battery electric vehicle registrations rose about 15% in the month, the data showed.

According to separate data from the research group New AutoMotive, overall BEV sales were up 20% in August year over year.

The company didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
