10:05 AM EDT, 10/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Texas Instruments ( TXN ) said Thursday it has begun production of gallium nitride, GaN, semiconductors at its factory in Aizu, Japan, adding to existing production in Dallas, Texas.

The company, which produces a broad range of GaN-based power semiconductors, said it aims to increase internal manufacturing by more than 95% by 2030.
