09:54 AM EST, 03/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Texas Instruments ( TXN ) said Thursday that it and NVIDIA ( NVDA ) are collaborating to improve the safety and perception abilities of humanoid robots.

The companies said the partnership intends to help developers accelerate to production-ready, scalable, and safety-compliant systems of the robots.

Texas Instruments ( TXN ) said that as part of the collaboration, it has integrated its mmWave radar technology with NVIDIA Jetson Thor using NVIDIA Holoscan Sensor Bridge. It said this will allow human-like perception for the robots in conditions such as low light and bright glare, and fog and dust indoors and outdoors. It also said they aim to address limitations of humanoid robots.
