11:52 AM EDT, 10/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Textron ( TXT ) unit Textron Aviation said Monday it introduced a new range of Cessna Citation light jets, with the CJ4 Gen3 expected to enter service in 2026.

The M2 Gen3 and CJ3 Gen3 are expected to be available in 2027, the company said.

Textron ( TXT ) said the new aircraft will feature Garmin emergency autoland technology, enabling the planes to land automatically in the rare event of pilot incapacitation.

Shares of Textron ( TXT ) were down 1.1% in recent trading.
