Textron's Unit Gets Milestone B Decision Approval From US Army for Future Assault Aircraft

10:21 AM EDT, 08/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Textron's ( TXT ) Bell Textron unit said Monday it has received milestone B approval from the US Army for its Future Long Range Assault Aircraft.

With the milestone B decision, Bell Textron will execute the preliminary design review of the aircraft including weapon system design, sustainment, and system integrations, the unit added.

The US Army awarded the Future Long Range Assault Aircraft contract to Bell in December 2022.

Textron's ( TXT ) stock was down 2.5% in recent trading.
