Thames Water's bonds drop after it says regulator's plan untenable

LONDON, Aug 28 (Reuters) - Thames Water's bonds fell on

Wednesday after the struggling British utility said the

expenditure cuts proposed by the water regulator Ofwat were not

tenable and would make its current plan uninvestible.

A senior 2027 bond was trading at 75.94 pence on the pound

, down over two points from the previous day.
