10:32 AM EDT, 05/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- The9 ( NCTY ) said Friday its China Crown Technology unit signed an exclusive licensing deal with Wemade to publish the mobile and PC versions of the Mir M game in China.
The commercial launch is expected early next year, and the license period is five years with the possibility of a one-year extension, the company said.
The game may include blockchain technology in accordance with China's laws and regulations, subject to further agreement between the companies, The9 ( NCTY ) said.
Financial details weren't disclosed.
The9 ( NCTY ) shares fell 6.9% in recent trading Friday.
