12:01 PM EDT, 09/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Theratechnologies ( THTX ) said its shareholders approved the company's acquisition by CB Biotechnology, an affiliate of Future Pak.

At a special meeting, shareholders voted in favor of the buyout by more than 97%, the company said Friday in a statement.

The deal is still subject to customary closing conditions, including a final order from the Superior Court of Quebec at a hearing set for Tuesday, the company said.

On July 2, Montreal-based Theratechnologies ( THTX ) agreed to be acquired for up to $254 million in cash and potential milestone payments. Future Pak is based in Wixom, Michigan.
