These 5 Indian startups made the world's most successful unicorns list

One97 Communications, the Paytm parent, ranks 18th position in the list. The Noida-based company, which runs subsidiaries including Paytm Money, is headed by Vijay Shekhar Sharma.

E-commerce firm Snapdeal, headed by Kunal Bahl, secured 25th position in the list. Founded by Kunal and Rohit Bahl, the Delhi based firm has a pan-India base and has links with over 300,000 sellers.

Oyo Rooms was founded by Ritesh Agarwal when he was 18. It has quickly established itself among the top hospitality chains in India. The firm, which has secured 39th position, has a valuation of over $5 billion.

BYJU’S - The Learning App has secured 42nd position in the list. The popular online tutoring firm was founded in 2011 by Byju Ravindran in Bengaluru and has a valuation of over $5 billion.

Ola Cabs secured 49th position. The cab aggregator was developed by ANI Technologies, and founded by Bhavish Aggarwal and Ankit Bhati and is based in Bengaluru.
