Think Research Says No Alternative Buyers Emerge as Shareholder Vote Next Week on Going Private Transaction

05:29 PM EDT, 03/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Think Research ( THKKF ) on Tuesday said it expects to complete a going-private transaction in conjunction with Beedie Investments in the second quarter as a 30-day period to solicit other buyers ended with no competing bids.

The healthcare-technologies company said its advisors contacted 34 potential buyers during the "go shop" period, which expired on March 16 with no new bidders coming forward.

The company's shareholder will vote on Beedie's C$0.32 per share offer April 4. Institutional Shareholder Services. an influential proxy advisory firm, has recommended voting in favor of the bid.

Think shares closed down C$0.005 to C$0.305 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
