This battery technology can charge electric car in 15 minutes

Here is the story of two college friends who have built a home-grown technology to power electric vehicles.

Jubin Varghese and Ameya Gadiwan's Gegadyne Energy is a Mumbai-based start-up which has developed a battery technology that can fully charge an electric car in 15 minutes.

Currently at the lab stage, Gegadyne Energy is using a non-lithium and environment-friendly technology and they are soon planning a pilot launch in partnership with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers).

Gegadyne Energy was named 'The Energy Startup of the Year 2019' at the Entrepreneurs Award 2019 and it also made the Forbes 30 under 30 Asia and India lists.
