11:01 AM EDT, 05/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Thunderbird Entertainment Group ( THBRF ) said Thursday Matthew Berkowitz is stepping down as president and chief creative officer, effective May 31, after accepting a new opportunity.
Aaron Behl and Kristin Cummings, senior vice presidents of originals at Atomic Cartoons, and Hillary Zwick Turner, senior vice president of scripted content at Thunderbird, will assume Berkowitz's responsibilities for overseeing the development of new animated and scripted IPs.
Thunderbird's leadership team will now include Twiner McCarron, chief executive of Atomic Cartoons/Thunderbird and Thunderbird chair, chief financial officer Simon Bodymore, and Richard Goldsmith, president of global distribution and consumer products. Lori Massini serves as the company's general counsel.
The company has named David Way CEO of Great Pacific Media, the unscripted subsidiary of Thunderbird. Also, Thunderbird has promoted Lindsay Macadam to president at Great Pacific Media.
The company's shares were last seen down C$0.13 to C$1.90 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
