DUESSELDORF, Germany, March 12 (Reuters) - U.S. tariffs
on steel will have only a limited effect on business at
Thyssenkrupp Steel Europe as its main market is
Europe, the company said on Wednesday.
"Indirect effects are more serious if exports destined for
the U.S. are diverted to Europe due to the tariffs. This would
severely hurt the European market in the long term," said the
company, adding that long-term solutions are needed to protect
the European market from unfair trading practices.
