07:06 AM EDT, 04/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Tidewater Renewables ( TDWRF ) , which fell near 7% on Tuesday, said overnight that a "minor" fire broke out at the company's renewable diesel refinery (HDRD Complex) located in Prince George, British Columbia.

"While the investigation is in its early stages, Tidewater Renewables ( TDWRF ) is encouraged by the seemingly low level of damage resulting from the Incident," said the company in a statement.

The company maintains a full suite of spare parts at the HDRD Complex and said it should be in a position to rectify the damage and complete the appropriate testing and analysis required to safely bring the HDRD Complex back online in short order.

Tidewater added that the outage is not expected to have a material impact on the company's operating and financial results, assuming the resumption of operations as expected.
