Tilray Down In US Premarket Even As Announces "Major Expansion" of Medical Cannabis Portfolio in Australia

08:19 AM EDT, 03/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Tilray Medical, a global player in medical cannabis and a division of Tilray Brands ( TLRY ) announced Thursday its largest portfolio expansion in Australia to date.

In a statement, the company said the expanded medical cannabis offering reinforces its long-term commitment to the Australian market and supports increased patient access to regulated, clinically supported medical cannabis products.

Rajnish Ohri, President, International, Tilray Brands ( TLRY ), stated, "Australia represents an important strategic market within our international growth strategy."

Shares in Tilray were at last look down 1.2% in US premarket trade. They were down 2.9% in Canada and more than 3% in the U.S. yesterday.
